The chapters are linked. Characters step out of one story and into the next, and what looks like a collection gradually turns out to be a single, sprawling family of people who keep colliding.
Expect stories about memory, friendship, grief and family, told in plain language with the kind of humour that turns up in real families, usually just when it’s needed. It’s warm, and it’s not squeamish about the harder bits.
